The 17th ITS World Congress Organizing Committee attended the 2010 Land, Transport and Maritime Technology Show, which was held at COEX, Seoul from June 30 through July 2 on the theme, "Land that creates hope, and ocean that moves toward the future". The event was hosted by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, and jointly organized by the Korea Institute of Construction & Transportation Technology Evaluation and Planning and Korea Institute of Marine Science & Technology Promotion. Senior Vice Chairman Changse Kim of the 17th ITS World Congress Organizing Committee was invited to the event as a VIP, and attended the tape-cutting ceremony. Other officials also participated in the event, including Vice Secretary-General Kang-hoon Lee and Event Management Bureau Director Tae-yeon Kim, and benchmarked the overall event such as the opening ceremony and event hall operation. The Organizing Committee officials also set up a PR booth in the exhibition hall, actively using the booth to publicize the 17th ITS World Congress, BUSAN 2010 to officials from various sectors, such as the automotive, railroad, and aviation industries.
